🚀 BUILDING THE FUTURE OF SLOVAK SPACE OPERATIONS! 🛰️

Last week, the Faculty of Aeronautics at TUKE was honored to host a distinguished visit from the Slovak Space Office: Kristína Jacková (Director) and Daniel Sagath (Head of Industry Branch).

The highlights focused on our Space Mission Control Center (SMCC), the operational heart of our current satellite missions: GRBAlpha, GRBBeta, and Veronika. Our team is now working at full throttle preparing for the upcoming launch of the Marina satellite.

✨ Technological Milestone Thanks to the vital financial support from the Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic, the SMCC has undergone a major modernization and upgrade. These enhancements provide us with world-class capabilities for mission operations and offer our students a unique hands-on experience in the aerospace sector.

We are proud to play a leading role in the Slovak space ecosystem as we continue to strengthen our integration within the European Space Agency (ESA). The future of Slovak aerospace is looking brighter than ever! 🚀🌍
