We are immensely proud to announce that the Dean of the Faculty of Aeronautics at the Technical University of Košice, doc. Ing. Peter Korba, PhD., has been officially appointed as a Full Professor in the field of Transport.

Professor Korba, who has been successfully leading our faculty since May 2021, has dedicated his academic and scientific career to advancing aerospace engineering, air transport systems, and the integration of Industry 4.0 digital twins. This highest academic title is a well-deserved recognition of his long-term dedication, exceptional research output, and profound contributions to the global aviation community.

Key Achievements of Prof. Peter Korba:

• Serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Aeronautics since May 2021.

• Author and co-author of over 235 original scientific and professional publications.

• Successfully supervised 10 PhD candidates to graduation.

• Actively leading and resolving prestigious national and international research projects, including European Union Horizon Europe funding schemes.

• Chairman and member of numerous scientific boards and international aviation conference committees.
