Part 147 Maintenance Training Organization

Within the Faculty of Aeronautics of the Technical University in Košice, there is an approved organization according to Part 147 for the training of aircraft maintenance personnel. In its activity, it follows the valid laws, standards and regulations of the Slovak Republic and EASA requirements. The training is carried out according to the requirements of Part 66 and Part 147 of the Commission Regulation (EU) no. 1321/2014 of November 26, 2014 on maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft and products, parts and equipment and on the approval of organizations and personnel involved in these activities. The organization provides theoretical training (teaching and exams) and practical training for course participants.
Basic training courses (KZV) for categories B1.1, B1.3, B2 are intended for external applicants. They are implemented in the total range of 2400 hours, planned for a duration of 2 years.
The organization is authorized to conduct courses and knowledge tests of modules No. 3 to 17 according to Part 66, re-training of module knowledge (after failed exams) and update training from modules No. 9A, 9B, 10 – for the needs of maintenance organizations.
Students of the Faculty of Aeronautics can take part in theoretical knowledge tests according to Part 66 during their university studies free of charge.
