General conditions of admission to study
In accordance with §56, §57 and §58 of Act No. 131/2002 Coll. on universities, the basic condition for admission to the study program of the first degree is obtaining a complete secondary education or a complete secondary professional education. The application for study can be submitted electronically via the MAIS TUKE information system (e-application), in paper form by post, or in person at the Study Department of the LF.
An applicant for a bachelor’s degree at TUKE can apply for only one study program on one application. In case of non-admission to the selected study program, the applicant may be offered another study program.
Specific conditions for admission to the Pilot study program - specialization in piloting aircraft
The condition for studying the study program Pilot – piloting aircraft is the timely completion of a medical examination (at your own expense) by 31.08.2023 and obtaining a certificate of aviation medical fitness of at least 2nd class (1st class is recommended) in accordance with EASA aviation legislation. It is possible to undergo a health check-up in authorized medical facilities, or at authorized doctors (pay attention to longer appointment times):

Practical flight training is part of the study of the study program Pilot - piloting airplanes. The minimum required level of training achieved during the course of study is the acquisition of a PPL(A) private pilot licence. Applicants who have already obtained a pilot’s license before starting their studies or have started flight training (also on other aircraft categories) will be assessed individually. The costs of practical flight training are covered by the students themselves. Practical flight training during studies is carried out in partner training organizations of the Faculty of Aeronautics. Specific conditions for admission to the Pilot study program - air traffic control specialization
For the study program Pilot - air traffic management, it is recommended to pass a medical examination and obtain a 3rd class flight medical qualification in accordance with EASA aviation legislation, but it is not a necessary condition for admission to this study program.
Conditions for admitting students to bachelor study programs conducted in the English language
In addition to meeting the above-mentioned general conditions for admission to study and specific conditions for admission to study, students applying for studies in the English language must also demonstrate basic knowledge of the English language for understanding, speaking and writing at least as a user of the basics of the language at level A2 according to the common European framework for CEF languages:

understands sentences and frequently used phrases related to everyday life,
-
can describe his education, his immediate surroundings in a simple way, can respond to questions and move in the level of basic tenses in the Slovak language,
-
the vocabulary is in the range of 1600 words.
Knowledge of the Slovak language is verified as part of the entrance exam in the form of a written test and an oral test, to which foreign students will be invited. The aforementioned verifications of knowledge of the Slovak language do not apply to foreign students who completed secondary school studies in the Slovak language or in the Czech language.
As part of the admission procedure, foreign students must also submit a document on the recognition of the equivalence of secondary school education documents with the high school diploma.
Conditions for admitting students to bachelor study programs conducted in the English language.
In addition to meeting the above-mentioned general conditions for admission to study and specific conditions for admission to study, students applying for studies in the English language must also demonstrate basic knowledge of the English language for understanding, speaking and writing at least as a user of the basics of the language at level A2 according to the common European framework for CEF languages:

Verification of knowledge of the English language is carried out as part of the entrance exam in the form of a written test and an oral test, to which foreign students will be invited.

Method of selecting applicants for study
There is no entrance exam. The selection of applicants for study will be made for each study program separately, solely on the basis of the results of their studies in high school and their point position in the ranking list after the sum of points according to the table of criteria for evaluating applicants for bachelor's studies.
